After all this time we're so glad to have found a couple who wanted to shoot at Cape Schanck with us in @jiawenlee_ and Joshua! Definitely now one of our favorite spots to shoot at in Melbourne - on one side you get the lighthouse and the epic boardwalk, and the other, Pulpit Rock, where I've been dying to get a shot at basically forever!

A pretty tough spot to shoot at, with tons of slippery rocks to navigate, some fairly large cesspools you have to find a pathway around, and incoming waves of varying strength that can hit you suddenly (which I personally experienced on this shoot when my poor Timberlands got soaked through for the millionth time by seawater), as well as coastal wind to make it all the more difficult!

But certainly rewarding to have gotten this frame with the waves rippling right through across the entire shot! Loved their matching outfits too, complementing each other so well! But most of all, having fun and high spirits all around with these two which made it such a blast to shoot there!

So we're finally all done wrapping up our edits from our Melbourne adventures and super hyped to share what we've been working on! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Spent a day out at Cape Schank with the amazing @jiawenlee_ and Joshua - it was forecast for cloudy weather but we were super fortunate to have the sun break for some epic lighting over this gorgeous landscape! Super fun hanging out with these two, Jia Wen definitely picked the right guy because Joshua can REALLY cook so we headed out to nearby Sorrento and loaded up on a ton of fresh seafood which we feasted on for dinner after a rewarding shoot together! So we finally left LA and made the 4 hour drive over to see the grand sequoia trees (largest trees in the world in case you didn't know) and I was absolutely DYING to shoot there when there was a sudden snowstorm warning and we were greeted by hail after driving in 17 miles from the park entrance (which took another hour since the roads are all so windy)! My first time experiencing snow - it was soooo amazing! - and it was good times with Jade running up and down the trails looking for some black bears and mountain lions to play with!

We finally made it back to the Bay for 2 nights after a 4 hour drive from Clovis! But the thing is the weather forecast for our second day was RAINING so after arriving and checking into our Airbnb at 2pm we went on an absolute marathon of the city, hitting up every single one of our photo spots in one day! Great thing about SF though, sunset isn't til like 8pm! Loved this crazy view of the SF skyline, we absolutely in love with this city and it makes me miss life out here!

We are in California! At last, for some shoots and travel! After an insane 12 hour flight delay where we stopped by Tokyo instead of heading directly to San Francisco (thank you United Airlines!), we were a bit too ambitious and drove 7 hours straight to Los Angeles 2 days later on some serious jet lag! But we still made time to pull over at sunset somewhere along the 5 South, and get Panda Express for dinner!

After a very memorable 1 man gatecrashing at the villas (during which SK was a so very incredibly good sport going up against the challenges of 5 bridesmaids), it was time for the ceremony!
